Andrew Carnegie's Original Home in

Born November 25, 1835 in Dunfermline, Scotland to a poor family, Carnegie then moved to the United States before the age of ten.
Andrew's family couldn't survive without him working.
By the age of 12, Carnegie works for the Pennsylvania Railroad Company. The chairman of the railroad, Tom Scott, personally meets Carnegie and becomes his mentor. Andrew continued on working as a personal assistant for Tom Scott. By the age of 24, Carnegie was promoted to manager of the Pennsylvania Railroad Company and had a strong relationship with Tom Scott.
